Adlai Stevenson Special

A special train carrying presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson operated over the Reading and Columbia Branch on October 28, 1952, just days before the election. It passed the passenger station in Lititz, PA at 11:11 a.m. This is believed to be the last passenger train operated over the R&C.
