ABOVE LEFT: The Reading heritage of this SEPTA MU car is obvious as remnants of the Reading diamond logo can be seen on the front panel. Warminster service is a modern extension of the original Hatboro electrification, resulting from suburban sprawl and poor parking at that station. #9023 is a Silverliner IV built by General Electric in 1974 for the Reading. It was renumbered to #294 by SEPTA in the 1990's.
ABOVE RIGHT: A view of the parking lot side of Warminster station. SEPTA discontinued the use of the R2 designation for Warminster Line service on July 25, 2010. (Both photos, Josh Musser, October 4, 1991)
